Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern bounced back from a 6-4 loss to Harding in the Saturday opener to pick up a 7-1 win in the series finale to take the series over the Bisons three games to two.

The split moves the Savage Storm record to 10-7 overall and 5-3 in Great American Conference play.

In SE's win in the finale,
Shayna Milam got the start and moved to 3-2 on the year after tossing 5.2 innings and allowing a run on eight hits with four strikeouts before handing the ball to
Mindy McElroy who picked up her first save after throwing the final 1.1 and allowing just one hit.

At the plate,
Sydney Kramer posted a pair of hits and three RBI, while six other picked up a hit, including
Laramie Beal who homered and drove in two.

HU opened the game with a run in the top of the first to take the early 1-0 lead.

The Storm responded with a two-run homer off the bat of Beal in the bottom half of the first to take a 2-1 lead.

Lacie Cook sac fly in the third stretched that edge to 3-1.

In the fifth inning,
Arianna Jones drew a bases loaded walk that plated
Jessica Simmons, and the scoring ended in the sixth inning with a three-run Kramer double to take a 7-1 lead which would hold to be the final.

In the early game, the Storm managed a series low four hits, with
Arianna Jones homering and driving in three runs.

McElroy got the start and was tagged with the loss after going 3.0 innings and allowing six runs on seven hits.

Hosanna McCoy tossed the final 4.0 innings, allowing no runs on one hit.

The Bisons opened scoring with a three run top of the first inning.

SE answered with a Jones homer that also scored Beal and Cook to knot the game at 3-3.

SE took a 4-3 lead in the second when an errant throw by the HU third baseman on a
Conner Harmon bunt allowed McElroy to score from first.

The Bisons, however, answered with three solo home runs in the third to take a 6-4 lead which would prove to be the final score.
