Weather Forces Changes to SE-ATU Series

DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern will open a three-game series against Arkansas Tech on March 7 with some changes to the schedule due to the threat of weather.
 
Friday will now begin at noon with a double-header against the Wonder Boys, with Saturday now hosting the single game at 2 p.m. barring weather changes.
 
The Savage Storm come intot he contest with a 9-8 record overall and a 4-5 mark in Great American Conference play, but are still riding a five-game home winning streak.
 
SE is led by a pair of players hitting over .300 for the year, led by the .333 mark posted by Chevis Springer, while Jacob Carter is right behind at .323.
 
Carter has three doubles to lead the way, while Collin Sefcik leads the club in RBI with 10 on the year.
 
Springer has scored a team-high 17 runs and has eight stolen bases, while Ryan Salter has swiped a team-best 13 on the year.
 
On the hill, Canyon Conley continues to lead the starters with a 3.20 ERA despite a 1-2 record.  He has also held opponents to a .198 average while striking out a team-high 33.
 
Mason Crenshaw leads the relievers with eight appearances, a 1.23 ERA and four saves.
 
ATU comes to town ranked No. 24 in the nation in possession of a 12-5 overall record and a 4-2 GAC mark.
 
The Wonder Boys are eld by Mike Kattula who is hitting .406 with seven doubles, three homers and 18 RBI.
 
Ryan Taylor leads the team's starting rotation with a 2-1 record in five starts with a 3.29 ERA and 33 strikeouts, while Randy Vallejo paces the releivers with four saves in nine appearances.
