SE Drops Series Finale vs. ATU

Box Score DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's woes continued into Saturday as the Savage Storm dropped the final game of its series against Arkansas Tech 1-0 at The Ballpark in Durant.
 
The loss drops the team to 9-11 overall and 4-8 in Great American Conference play.
 
Brayon Colley collected a pair of SE's three hits, going 2-for-4 in the game while Ryan Salter collected the third hit.
 
Chance Burcham drew three walks in the game as well.
 
The Storm stranded seven runners in the contest, including three in scoring position.
 
Nick Johnson got the start for SE and tossed 6.0 innings, allowing no runs on one hit with four strikeouts but garnering a no decision.
 
Dwight Camp tossed the final three innings and was saddled with his first loss after allowing a run on two hits with three K's.
 
Despite dodging trouble in the fifth inning by recording the inning's first and third outs at home plate, SE was unable to keep a run off the board in the top of the ninth as ATU opened the inning with a double and brought in the lone run on a sac fly.
 
The Storm's biggest scoring threat came in the second inning when they moved runners to second and third with two outs before a groundout ended the opportunity.
