DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball will be looking to stay on a roll when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State for the Great American Conference home opener Feb. 19-20, with Friday's twinbill set for noon and Saturday's single game also slated for noon.

The Savage Storm come into the weekend series with a 6-4 record and a 2-1 mark in league play after taking two-of-three form Northwestern Oklahoma State on the road.

Now SE welcomes its first GAC foe to the Ballpark in Durant as southwestern Oklahoma State enters the weekend at 2-8 overall and 0-3 in league play after suffering a home sweep at the hands of East Central.

The Storm is currently fourth in the conference as a team in hitting with a .283 average, while
Collin Sefcik leads the conference with a .448 average that includes a triple and four RBI.

He is joined in the top 10 in hitting by
Kaleb Thomas who is .407 on the season with a pair of doubles and eight RBI.

In all SE has three hitters over .400 on the year and two more hitting over .300.

On the hill the Storm is eighth in the league with a 4.50 team ERA, but
Dylan Linke is ranked fourth in ERA at 0.59, but has yet to register a win.

Evan Sanders has posted a 2-0 record as an SE starter with a 4.09 ERA and 17 strikeouts, while
Brady Colbert has been a hero out of the pen, recording a win or a save in each of his four appearances, earning a 2-0 record with a pair of saves to go with his 1.59 ERA.

SWOSU is seventh in the league in hitting as well as pitching, but is led by the .325 average of Christian Perez who has a double, a triple and four RBI on the year.

Ethan Davis and Jon Chidester have each recorded a win on the year, with ERA's of 2.08 and 2.95, respectively.
