4:30 p.m. (2/27)DURANT, Okla. – Wintery weather in the area has had a significant effect on Southeastern's weekend schedule of athletic events, cancelling home baseball as well as softball's road game in Arkansas.
The only teams to have their schedules unchanged are men's and women's basketball who will make the trek to Weatherford, Okla., for the regular-season ending matchup against Southwestern Oklahoma State with Great American Conference tournament seeding scenarios on the line.
The women are slated to tip at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m.
Baseball has had their home series against Henderson State cancelled due in part to the forecast of wintery weather that was supposed to come over the weekend, and then with the addition of the snows which rolled into Durant on Friday. No makeups will be scheduled.
Softball was originally planning to move its series Searcy, Ark., back one day, but conditions worsened on Friday and forced them to cancel as well. No makeup dates will be scheduled.
