DURANT, Okla.  – Rainy weather for the weekend has caused havoc on Southeastern baseball's series against Harding, moving the series opener to 3 p.m. on March 14 with the weekend's double-header scheduled for noon on March 15 at The Ballpark in Durant.

Originally slated for a Friday/Saturday series the games had previously been moved to play the double-header on Saturday and a single game on Sunday before the true extent of Friday's rain had settled in and forced the new schedule adjustment.

The Savage Storm enter the series with a 7-8 record overall and a 3-4 mark in Great American Conference play, but have played just two games, one in conference and one out of conference, since completing its last full series against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Feb 21.

The Storm are eighth in the league standings, while the Bisons come into town with a 9-11 overall record and a 4-3 mark in GAC play.

SE has lost three in-a-row dating back to the finale of the SWOSU series on Feb. 21, while HU has lost eight of its last 12 outings.

The Storm is led by a foursome of .300 hitters, with Corban Taylor leading the group at .378 on the season, while Collin Sefcik is right behind at .370.

Kaleb Thomas is hitting .333, while Dylan Helms is adding a .306 clip.

Cody Coats leads the team in power numbers with a pair of homers and 13 RBI, while Thomas, Brayon Colley and Jacob Soisson have each stolen six bases.

Dylan Linke has been one of the league's best pitchers, posting a GAC best 0.49 ERA with one earned run allowed in four starts and 18.1 innings pitched, but has yet to record a decision.

Brady Colbert, Evan Sanders and Nick Johnson have each posted a pair of pitching wins, while Colbert also has both of the team's saves.

Harding is led by Harrison Hunter who is hitting .377 on the year, while Davis Richardson has a team-best three home runs and 13 RBI.

Collin Campbell has been the team's top starter with a 3-1 record and a 1.76 ERA in five starts, while Hunter Payne has a 1-1 record with a save as well as a 0.61 ERA in nine appearances.
