DURANT, Okla.  – After more than three weeks since its last home contest, Southeastern returns to the SE Softball Field to host Arkansas-Monticello in a four-game series April 2-3 with twinbills starting at 1 p.m. each day.

The series is key as the Savage Storm enters with a 15-16 overall record and an 11-5 record in GAC play which has them in third place by percentage points as the team looks to close on the teams ahead in the standings.

The Cotton Blossoms come into the series at 17-10 overall and 9-7 in league play which is good for fifth in the standings.

The Storm enters as the league's top hitting team with a team batting average of .349 on the year, led by
Courtney Riddle at .430 with
Jessica Simmons right behind at .407.

Arianna Jones,
Haley Strawn,
Laramie Beal,
Sydney Kramer and
Darrian Williams are each hitting over .300 as well to bolster the lineup.

Riddle leads the team in homers with four and RBI at 33, while Simmons and Jones have 29 runs scored each and a combined 25 stolen bases on 28 attempts.

The Storm pitching staff is led by
Jacee Bennett who has racked up nine wins with a 5.25 ERA and a team-best 64 strikeouts, while
Jessica Seay has the low ERA on the squad at 5.25 and has five wins and 54 K's.

UAM enters the series in 10
th in the league in hitting with a .284 average, while tis pitching staff carries a 4.03 ERA.

Kali Piha leads the Blossoms with a .407 average, while Holly Wilmarth paces the club in homers with five and RBI at 20.

Katie Slaughter leads the UAM pitching staff with a 9-3 record and a 3.904 ERA along with 58 strikeouts.
