DURANT, Okla.  – With a trip to the Great American Conference tournament secured, Southeastern will now wade into the final eight games of the conference schedule looking to regain the top spot in the league standings, starting with a four-game series against Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, Okla., April 19-20.

Sunday's games are currently set for 2 p.m., with Monday's twinbill slated for noon.

The Savage Storm enter the series with a 25-18 record overall and a 19-7 mark in GAC play and have won three-straight and 13 of their last 15 games and are currently in second place in the standings, two games behind Henderson State, while enjoying a percentage points lead over East Central who is in third.

SWOSU comes into the series with a 7-31 record overall on the year and a 3-23 mark in league play and is in 11
th place in the standings.

SE is paced offensively by
Sydney Kramer who is fourth in the conference in hitting at .433, while
Haley Strawn is sixth in the league at .425.

Four others are hitting at least .375, while the Storm also features four different hitters with 30-or-more RBI, led by the 38 by
Courtney Riddle.

Strawn, Riddle and
Laramie Beal each have five homers, while a total of seven players have driven in more than 20 runs on the year.

Jessica Seay leads the Storm pitching staff with a 12-6 record on the year and a 4.10 ERA, while
Jacee Bennett has added 11 wins.

Seay has racked up 89 strikeouts, while Bennett has fanned 88.

The Bulldogs are led by Maci Brown who is hitting .424 on the season, as well as Adrienne Martinez who has 11 home runs and 36 RBI.
