DURANT, Okla.  – Southeastern will put its seven-match winning streak on the line when it hosts preseason conference favorite Harding at 10 a.m. on April 10, followed on April 11 by a noon matchup with Nebraska-Kearney, both at the Southeastern tennis Complex.

The Savage Storm opened at No. 4 in the first NCAA Central Region poll released on April 8, behind Northeastern State, Southwest Baptist and Northwest Missouri State.

The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 14-4 record overall and a 4-0 mark in Great Ameircan Conference play and are enjoying a seven-match winning streak in which its most recent victim was No. 50 Arkansas-Ft. Smith.

That matchup served as senior day for the team and the Storm found itself in a rare deficit after doubles play, with the pair of Ilga Racika-Racko and Milena Vitez providing the team's lone win at number three doubles.

Alexsandra Reljic started the rally in singles play with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 win at one singles to event he match at 2-2. That started a streak of wins that was continued at number two by Racika-Racko who took her match 6-3, 6-2. Darija Catipovic followed suit at number three with a 7-6, 6-2 win before Maria Martinez clinched the match at number four with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 win. Conchi Assiego would add a 6-1, 6-3 win at number five to fashion the 6-3 final score.

The Bisons come to town with an 8-6 record overall and a 1-1 mark in GAC play.

The squad is coming off a win over Ouachita Baptist which snapped a three-match losing streak.

Facing the Lopers is a big matchup regionally for the team as UNK enters at No. in the region.

They are 16-3 on the year overall and are currently on a three-match winning streak, all against fellow MIAA opponents.
