SE Hosts ASU For Weekend Series

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will host its first weekend home series when it welcomes No. 13 Angelo State to The Ballpark in Durant on Feb. 12-13 with a double-header at noon on Friday with a single game at noon on Saturday.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 3-3 record following a 14-13 extra inning victory over Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday,
 
Tim Hunter is pacing the SE offense with a .467 average that includes seven hits, two RBI and six runs scored.
 
Five others are averaging better than .300, with Dylan Helms posting a pair of homers and six RBI while Logan Terwilliger adding six RBI.
 
The Storm pitching staff is led by Scott Richards who is 1-0 on the year with a 2.89 ERA in a pair of starts with nine strikeouts.
 
Matt Benedict and Cory Scheibner have each registered a win, while Brady Colbert has the team's lone save.
 
ASU comes to town with a 3-0 record on the year after sweeping a series from Texas A&M-International.
 
The Rams are led by Steven Pinales on offense with a .667 batting average that includes a triple, a homer and four RBI, while Paxton DeLaGarza has added four RBI while hitting .417.
 
Graylon Brown leads the pitching staff with a win while not allowing a run in six innings, while Matt Shannon and Bryce Zak each have a win as well.
