DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will renew one of its more heated in-state rivalries when it host Central Oklahoma for a double-header on March 1 at noon at The Ballpark in Durant.

The Savage Storm enter the midweek matchup with a 7-9 record.

The two teams have not met since the 2012 season when they played a single game in Durant, and have not played multiple games in a season since both teams left the Lone Star Conference following the 2011 season.

The Storm have held a big edge in the most recent meeting, winning 13 of the last 16 games played from 2008 through 20012.

 SE is led on offense by
Dylan Helms who is hitting .383 with five doubles, three homers and 11 RBI.

Greg Husnander is also hitting over .300 at .356 with a team high four home runs and 10 RBI, while
Logan Terwilliger has posted a team-best 14 RBI.

Scott Richards has a pair of wins on the year with a 4.13 ERA and a team-high 26 strikeouts, while Matt Benedict leads the team with a 4.08 ERA.

Brady Colbert has also added four saves in seven appearances.

The Bronchos come into the matchup with a 6-3 record on the season and are coming off a three-game sweep of Southwest Baptist which followed a 14-1 loss at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Isaac Hellbusch leads the offense with a .400 average, while Landon Eason has driven in 12 runs and Jon Kamies has connected on five home runs.

Greg Hyde leads the leads the pitching staff with a 2-0 record and a 2.45 ERA.
