DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will return to its home diamond for a midweek rivalry matchup on March 29 when it hosts East Central in a 2 p.m. double-header at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The Savage Storm enter the twinbill with a 20-12 record overall on the season and a 16-6 mark in Great American Conference play which is good for third place.

Southeastern has a foursome of players hitting better than .300, led by
Jessica Simmons whose .474 average leads the conference. She has picked up seven doubles, a triple and two home runs with 14 RBI and 26 runs scored out of the leadoff position alongside a GAC best 25 stolen bases.

Laramie Beal is next in line with a .327 average and is the team co-leader in RBI with 18 along with
Sydney Kramer who is hitting .317.

Jordyn James checks in with a .311 batting average and lead the team with four home runs.

Jessica Seay paces the pitching staff with a 2.70 ERA along with her 9-4 record with four saves while striking out 77.

Emily Cudd leads the staff in wins with 10 while striking out 41 with a 3.40 ERA.

ECU comes to town with a 15-20 overall record and a 12-12 mark in league play after dropping three-of-four at Harding.

Autumn Suydam leads the team with a .400 average, while Taylor Davis and Jordynn VanPelt each check in with a .360 average or better.

VanPelt leads the team with nine home runs and 31 RBI.

Marissa Schaefer leads the pitching staff with a 3.57 ERA as well as a 7-7 record in the circle to go with 43 strikeouts.
