SE Set for In-State Road Trip to SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be aiming for its fifth-straight series victory when it heads north to Bethany, Okla., to take on Southern Nazarene in a three-game series April 1-2.
 
Game one on Friday is set for a 2 p.m. start with a Saturday double-header slated for a noon start.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 16-17 record overall and an 11-7 mark in Great American Conference play which includes a series victory in each of its last four series.
 
Dylan Helms leads a group of five hitters batting better than .300 on the year, posting a .352 mark with five home runs and 18 RBI.
 
Logan Terwilliger joins him with five homers atop the team in that category while leading the way in RBI with 28.
 
Greg Husnander, Kaleb Thomas and Corban Taylor are each also hitting better than .300.
 
On the hill Matt Benedict carries a team-best 2.94 ERA with a 2-2 record, while Dylan Linke leads all starters in wins with four.
 
Brady Colbert also has a 4-1 record to go with seven saves and a team-high 47 strikeouts.
 
SNU enters the weekend at 7-23 on the year overall and 5-13 in league play.
 
Dillon Feland leads the offense with a .405 average, while Anthony Wiggins has a team-high six homers and 21 RBI.
 
Cody Tolbert leads the staff in ERA at 4.13 and wins with a 2-1 record.
