DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's tennis enters the Great American Conference Tournament as the league's top seed and will have a bye to the semifinals where it will face the winner between Henderson State and Harding at 2 p.m. on April 22.

The Savage Storm women enter the tournament with an 11-3 record and are riding a nine-match winning streak and suffered just one loss in GAC play to Oklahoma Baptist who is ineligible for the postseason tournament.

SE also enters the weekend ranked fifth in the Central Region.

The Storm picked up convincing wins over both of its possible opponents, downing HU 7-2 and HSU 6-3 during the regular season.

SE's match is slated for 2 p.m. to coincide with the match between second-seeded Arkansas Tech and the winner between East Central and Southern Nazarene.

The winner of each of Friday's 1 p.m. matches will face each other for the GAC championship at 2 p.m. on April 23.
