DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will close out the regular season April 30 and May 1 when it hosts rival East Central in a three-game series at The Ballpark in Durant.

Saturday's game is slated for 3 p.m. with Durant Mayor Stewart Hoffman throwing out the first pitch in combination with presenting a proclamation to head coach Mike Metheny, denoting April 30, 2016 as "Mike Metheny Day"

Sunday's double-header is slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch with it serving as senior day for the Savage Storm's 13 seniors nearing the end of their playing careers.

SE is 25-21 overall on the year and 19-11 in Great American Conference play and tied for third with Oklahoma Baptist who is not eligible for the postseason tournament which means the Storm would be holding the No. 3 seed if the tournament started today and hosting during the first round.

Southeastern holds a game lead over Henderson State in fourth and a two-game lead over Southern Arkansas in fifth which means a single win in the series against ECU would ensure the team hosted a first round series, while two wins would lock up the third seed for the postseason tournament.

The Storm have a trio of .300 hitters leading the way on offense, paced by Kaleb Thomas at .333 with 10 doubles, two triples and 22 RBI, while Logan Terwilliger is right on his heels at .331 with 12 doubles, seven homers and a team-best 39 RBI.

Greg Husnander, Corban Taylor and Dylan Helms are each also hitting over .300, while Brandon Grimsley leads the team with 10 home runs.

Dylan Linke leads the Storm starters in wins with seven with a 5.31 ERA in 13 starts, while Matt Benedict and Mike Wade have each logged five wins. Benedict leads the club in ERA at 2.98.

Brady Colbert has made 20 appearances on the year, logging 10 saves and putting up a 4-2 record with a 3.97 ERA and a team-high 68 strikeouts.

The Tigers come to town with a 15-26 record on the year and a 14-16 record in GAC play which is good for seventh with the top-eight advancing to the postseason.

Riley Roberts leads the offense with a .326 average, while Jake MeKeel has a team-best 29 RBI.

Shae Edmonds leads the starters in wins and ERA with a 5-4 record and a 5.03 ERA and has also registered two of the team's four saves.
