ARKADELPHIA, Ark. –Southeastern picked up its fourth-straight win after cruising to a pair of commanding conference road victories, taking down Ouachita Baptist 9-0 and finishing the weekend with a 7-2 win over Harding.

The wins improve the Savage Storm to 6-3 on the season overall and 3-1 in Great American Conference play heading into an April 5 matchup with Arkansas-Ft. Smith at Ft. Smith, Ark.

SE swept doubles against OBU with
Alexsandra Reljic and
Darija Catipovic winning 8-4 at the one position.

Those were the only games dropped in doubles play as
Anna Buiukian and
Franzi Richtsfeld added an 8-0 win at two doubles while the duo of
Conchi Assiego and
Maria Martinez did the same thing at number three.

Buiukian kicked off singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 win at the number one position, followed by a 6-2, 6-0 win by Reljic at number two which clinched the match at 5-0.

Catipovic added a 6-3, 6-4 win at number three and Martinez chipped in a 6-2, 6-0 victory at four to move the score to 7-0.

Richtsfeld turned in a 6-0, 6-1 win at number five and Assiego rounded out the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number six.

Against the Bisons, the Storm had to gut out a 2-1 edge in doubles play after dropping the one position, with Buiukian and Richtsfeld squeaking out a 9-8 win at number two and Assiego and Martinez posting an 8-2 win at three doubles.

That was as close as the match would be as Buiukian would open singles play with a 7-5, 7-5 win at the one position to make the lead 3-1.

It stretched to 4-1 with a 6-1, 6-1 win by Reljic at the two spot, followed by the match clinching win by Catipovic at number three, 6-2, 6-4.

Martinez followed up at four with a 6-3, 6-1 win for a 6-1 edge, while Richtsfeld picked up the final win for the Storm with a 6-3, 6-2 win at number five.

HU would take the six position to fashion the 7-2 final score.
