DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to action with its first road trip of April when it travels to Shawnee, Okla., to take on Oklahoma Baptist in a four-game series April 8-9. Friday's games are set for a 3 p.m. first pitch, with Saturday's slated for 1 p.m.

The Savage Storm come into the series with a 23-15 record overall and a 19-9 mark in Great American Conference play.

Offensively
Jessica Simmons continues to pace the team and the conference with her .500 batting average, piling up 57 hits including 11 doubles, a triple and three home runs. She has also driven in 18 from the leadoff position and scored 34 times while adding a league best 35 stolen bases.

A trio of hitters carry .300 or better averages, with
Sydney Kramer posting a .350 mark with 22 RBI, followed by
Laramie Beal's .331 average with a team-high 23 RBI, with
Destiny Riddle adding a .331 average with 22 RBI.

Jessica Seay carries the team's low ERA with a 2.79 mark along with a 10-6 record, four saves and 91 strikeouts.

Emily Cudd leads the team in wins with an 11-7 record along with her 2.93 ERA, two saves and 58 K's.

The Bison come into the weekend at 13-24 overall and 10-18 in GAC play and have lost four-straight and seven of their last 10.

Shalee Cordell leads the offense at .317 with a team-high four home runs, while Madison Vaughn is right behind at .316 on the season with three homers and 17 RBI. Caitlin Hall leads the team with 18 RBI.
