DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern sets out to snap a losing skid and pick up its first Great American Conference win of the season when it makes the trek to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State on March 3-4 in a three game series.

Game one is slated for a 6 p.m. start on March 3, while Saturday's double-header is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch.

The Savage Storm have had a rough time at the plate to open the 2017 season, hitting .222, but are led by
Brett Akins who has put together a .359 average with a double and five RBI.

Travis Spinney and
Hunter Harrison are each hitting above .250, with Harrison posting two of the team's home runs and matching Akins with five RBI.

Wade has compiled his in a pair of starts over three appearances with four strikeouts, while Wood has appeared in five games with one start and struck out seven.
