DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern has won two of its last three conference series and will look to build on that when it hits the road for the first time in three weeks to face Ouachita Baptist in a three-game series March 25-26 in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The single game is set for Saturday with first pitch at 2 p.m., while a Sunday double-header starts at 1 p.m.

The Savage Storm come into the contest at 5-17-1 on the year and 4-9 in Great American Conference play, but after taking two out of three from Henderson State a week ago have won four of their last six conference contests and two of those three series.

The weekend victories have also put head coach
Mike Metheny within striking distance of the NCAA Division II All-Time Wins mark as he heads into the series needing one win to tie and two to pass Joe Roberts atop the list.

Hunter Harrison enters the weekend as the team's top offensive threat with a .315 average to go with a team-high five home runs and 19 RBI.

Brett Akins joins him north of the .300 mark at .314 on the year and has added nine RBI.

On the hill the Storm have lowered their staff ERA to 5.18, while
Mike Wade leads the way among starters with a 2.22 ERA and a 2-1 record, while
Hayden Grimes has a pair if wins and 19 strikeouts with a 4.60 ERA.

OBU comes into the weekend with an 8-19 mark overall and a 5-10 conference record having lost 10 of their last 13 outings.

The Tiger offense is led by Kyle Alexander who is hitting .375, while Preston Speers has driven in 18 runs.
