SE Softball Returns Home to Face Tigers

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the Southeastern Softball field for the first time in three weeks when it hosts Ouachita Baptist on March 25-26.
 
Saturday's double-header is slated for a 2 p.m. start, while first pitch on Sunday is set for 10 a.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend at 12-12 on the year and 6-8 in Great American Conference play and despite winning its last contest, SE has dropped five of its last six.
 
SE will be looking to create some space and get back above .500 when the Tigers come to Durant, with the Storm currently seventh in the standings with a two game lead over OBU in eighth.
 
Jordyn James paces the Southeastern offense with a .345 average and has a pair of home runs and 15 RBI, while Keeshia Thompson is at .313 with six doubles, two homers and 12 RBI.
 
Destiny Riddle paces the club with 18 RBI, while Mykaela Wallace had three homers, two triples and three doubles.
 
Emily Cudd paces the pitching staff with a 10-5 record overall and a 3.09 ERA with a pair of shutouts and 40 strikeouts.


OBU comes to town paced by Macy Wilson at .310 on the year, while Sarah Johnson leads the team with four home runs and 15 RBI.
 
Kelsey O'Brien leads the Tiger pitching staff with five wins and 52 strikeouts, while Macy Nantz carries a team-low 3.62 ERA.
