DURANT, Okla. – Fresh off its second-straight Great American Conference Championship Southeastern women's tennis will host its first Central Regional as the No. 2 seed in the Central Region on May 1-2 at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

The second-seeded Savage Storm will host seventh-seed Augustana in the opening round at 2 p.m., while the third-seeded Southwest Baptist will face off with sixth-seed Washburn at 10 a.m. Both opening round matches are set for May 1.

The winners will square off in a 1 p.m. match on May 2 with the winner of the regional earning a trip to the NCAA DII Women's Tennis National Finals.

Southeastern finished the season with an 18-2 mark overall and undefeated in conference play before adding a GAC Tourney championship to its resume.

Augustana comes into the weekend with an 16-5 record on the year and posted an 11-0 record in Northern Sun play before also taking the NSIC tournament crown.

SBU enters the regional with an 18-3 record on the year and an 8-1 mark in league play and reached the MIAA Tournament before falling in the title game.

WU comes into the regional with a 13-8 record on the season and a 5-4 mark in MIAA play, including a first-round loss in the MIAA tournament to SBU.
