Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern homered six times over two games and picked up back-to-back run-rule victories of 9-1 and 9-0 over Oklahoma Baptist on Friday afternoon to clinch a berth in the Great American Conference Tournament.

The wins push the Storm winning streak to seven games and lifts SE to 26-26 overall and 24-18 in GAC play with the regular-season finale slated for a 2 p.m. double-header on Saturday.

Symphoni Shomo,
Elexis Watson,
Mykaela Wallace, and
Ivy Amador each collected two hits to lead the way, with
Keeshia Thompson and
Hope Deanda each adding a hit.

Wallace would plate three to lead the way, while Watson and Amador added two RBI each and Riddle drove in a run.
Â
Katie McCullar collected the win after tossing four of the five innings and scattering a run on five hits with two strikeouts.

Riddle would come on toss the final inning, allowing a hit but nothing else.

A Watson RBI single up the middle would put the Storm on the board in the first inning, but a Wallace three-run blast three batters later would push the lead out to 4-0 after an inning of play.

The Storm added to their lead in the second, first on a Riddle squeeze bunt, and a batter later when Watson laid down a squeeze bunt but the throw to first was high and allowed Riddle to score from second to mount a 7-0 lead.

OBU answered with a run in the top of the third to cut the SE lead to 7-1.

After a scoreless fourth for both teams, Southeastern would bring the game to an early end when Amador connected on a two-run homer to left to trigger the run rule 9-1 win.

In the nightcap, Shomo, Watson, and McCullar each turned in a pair of hits, while
Emily Cudd,
Ivy Amador,
Karsyn Brigance, and
Kamarie Wallace added one apiece.

Watson, Cudd, McCullar, and Amador each homered, while Amador plated three runs, Watson and McCullar added two RBI, with
Kamarie Wallace and Cudd driving in one each.

Cudd also picked up a complete-game shutout victory after tossing five innings and scattering seven hits without allowing a run.

The Storm opened the game with a five-run first inning, with Watson connecting on a two-run shot before Amador finished the inning with a three-run shot to take a 5-0 lead.

Cudd would close out the scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning with a solo homer to left for her first hit of the season to take a 9-0 lead which would be the final.
