MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Southeastern found the going tough in its second outing of the season, finishing tied for 14
th at the 21
st Annual NSU Men's Classic played Monday and Tuesday at Muskogee CC in Muskogee, Okla.

SE fired a three-round team score of 890 and finished tied with Great American Conference rival Oklahoma Baptist, as the Savage Storm carded team rounds of 295, 299, and 296.

George Elliott led the way for Southeastern, carding a 71 to open the event and following it up with a 74 and a 73 to fire a 218 for the event and finish tied for 38
th.

Jordan Holifield was next in with rounds of 76, 73, and 74 to combine for a 223 and finish tied for 61
st.
Â
Ryan Ward finished the week with a 227 on rounds of 74, 77, and 76 to finish tied for 76
th, just one shot ahead of teammate
Matthew O'Steen who posted rounds of 74, 76, and 78 to finish with a 228 and tied for 79
th.

Bryce Hughes rounded out the five team players with rounds of 80, 76, and 73 to finish with a score of 229 in 81
st.

Trent Zorgdrager played in his first career tournament for SE as an individual and opened with a 72 before adding on a 74 and a 79 to finish with a 225 in a tie for 69
th.

Southeastern will be back in action Sept. 29-30 when it travels to Owensboro, Ky., for the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invite.
