SE Moves into Ninth in Final Round

EL DORADO, Ark. – Southeastern moved up a spot on the team leaderboard during the final round of play at the Arkansas Collegiate to place ninth with a combined 54-hole score of 104-over 968. The Savage Storm rounded out the last day, shooting 28-over 316 for its lowest round of the event.
 
No. 26 Harding held pole position at the tournament, turning a team score of 35-over 899, and Southern Arkansas would stay put in second at 67-over 931. No. 32 Central Missouri slotted in at third at 70-over 934, while Tyler JC and Northeastern State filled out the top five. Tyler JC shot 77-over 941 across the two days, and NSU would turn in an 88-over 952.
 
Nicholas Martin carded his best round of the event on day two, as he fired a 2-over 77 with four birdies, including three on the back nine. Martin, over the three rounds, shot 19-over 235 to tie for 15^th individually and recorded the sixth most birdies (7) over the event. Like Martin, Austin Skierski saved his best round for day two, as he shot 6-over 78 to finish with a 54-hole score of 24-over 240 and tied for 27^th.
 
Tristun Burnham scattered four birdies across round three to help him to an 8-over 80 on the day. Burnham wrapped up the event tied for 36^th individually with a score of 27-over 243, and recorded six birdies across the 54 holes of play. Reid Sharp (62^nd) shot 34-over 250 after three rounds of play, turning in his lowest score of the event on day two with a 9-over 81.
 
Rounding out the tournament, Dilyn Hart tied for 73^rd with a score of 44-over 260 after registering a 16-over 88 in round three. Southeastern will now turn its attention to the GAC Tournament on April 19 and 21 in Broken Arrow, Okla., at the Club at Forest Ridge.
