DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will take to the road for the first time this season when it jumps back into Great American Conference play with a three-game series against Southwestern Oklahoma State Feb. 21-22 in Weatherford, Okla.

Games one and two are slated for a noon double-header on Feb. 21, with a single game to finish the series set for noon on Feb. 22.

SE comes into the weekend with a 6-6 record overall on the season and is looking for its first conference win after opening the year 0-3.

The Savage Storm did get back in the win column with a dominant 16-3 midweek victory over East Central in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday.

Colton Buckner paces the SE offense with a .500 average, while nine of hits 18 hits have gone for extra bases including six doubles and three home runs.

The Bulldogs head into the weekend at 5-2 on the year and currently leads the conference in hitting with a team batting average of .365 and pitching with a team ERA of 2.41 through 56.0 innings of work.

SWOSU is one of three teams in the conference to win their opening league series 2-1 after taking two runaway wins at East Central last weekend while also dropping a 2-1 contest in the seven-inning game.
