DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will aim to wrap up a loaded week when it hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State in a three-game series March 12-13, with a doubleheader slated for a 10 a.m. start on Friday with a 10 a.m. single game set for Saturday at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The Savage Storm come into the matchup on a four-game winning streak following a Wednesday sweep of Midwestern State which improved them to 7-1 on the year with a 3-1 mark in Great American Conference play.

The winning streak comes with an asterisk however as game two against East Central on Tuesday was suspended in a 9-9 tie and will be completed on April 6 when the teams complete their series in Ada, Okla.

In the games that have gone final the Storm has been on fire offensively with a conference best .359 batting average as a team, led by
Augusta Duty who is batting .545, while
Cheyenne Mahy is hitting .462, with
Peyton Streetman at .450, and
Kady Fryrear at .429.

Four other SE starters are hitting .350 or better.

Gracie Ore and
Kamarie Wallace lead the team with six RBI, while seven players have at least four runs batted in over the team's eight games.

Amberlyn Walsworth leads the Storm pitching staff with a 3-0 record and a save while striking out 23 hitters and carrying a 2.33 ERA in 24.0 innings pitched.

Mahy has added a pair of wins, while
Ashley Hedrick and Micayla Glloway have each won one.

NWOSU comes to town with a 7-7 record on the year and a 2-6 mark in GAC play and has dropped five-straight over a twinbill with Southwestern Oklahoma State and a three-game series versus ECU.

The Rangers are led offensively by Hannah Howell who is hitting .487, while Morgan La Neve has driven in 12 runs and Jayden Solberg has connected on four homers.

Howell is also the team's top pitcher with a 5-2 record and a 1.79 ERA over 47.0 innings pitched with 33 strikeouts.
