DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball will take a break from Great American Conference play to head north on a four-game road swing, first facing Pittsburg State in March 23 doubleheader at 2 p.m. in Pittsburg, Kan., before heading to Bolivar, Mo., on March 24 for a 2 p.m. twinbill against Southwest Baptist.

The Savage Storm head into the swing with a 13-2 record on the season and have won 10 of its last 11 games.

The SE offense is paced by
Peyton Streetman who is hitting .500 on the season with a pair of doubles, eight RBI and a team-best 12 runs scored.

Kady Fryrear is next in line with a .426 mark with six doubles and seven RBI.

Five other starters are hitting .341-or-better, with
Kamarie Wallace leading that group with her two home runs and team-best 10 RBI.

The Storm have spread the offense around as seven different players have seven or more RBI, while seven hitters are averaging over .300.

Amberlyn Walsworth tossed a pair of complete games, including a complete-game shutout in the opener, while
Cheyenne Mahy tossed a complete-game shutout of her own.

Walsworth allowed one unearned run over 14.0 innings on the weekend, earning GAC Pitcher of the Week honors, while also lowering her ERA to 1.85 on the season with a 7-0 record and 47 strikeouts.

Mahy has posted a 4-1 mark with a 2.33 ERA and 13 K's.

PSU heads into the midweek with an 8-12 record on the season, and are led offensively by Kaity Kukowski who is batting .358, while Audrey Miller leads the club with four homers and 12 RBI.
