DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns home April 17-18 to host Ouachita Baptist in a three-game series with a doubleheader slated for noon on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday at noon. All three games will be played the Southeastern Softball Field.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 27-5 record overall on the season and a 17-4 mark in Great American Conference play and are maintaining a game-and-a-half lead over Southern Arkansas for the top spot in the league standings.

SE is coming off a 2-1 series against Southwestern Oklahoma State, dropping the final game to snap a five-game conference winning streak. ON the year the Storm have three winning streaks of five-or-more games.

The Storm is 9-1 in its last 10 outings against OBU, and is currently riding a nine-game winning streak in the series dating back to the 2018 season.

The Tigers come to town with a 15-13 record overall on the year and a 13-11 mark in conference play
 After taking two-of-three at home against Arkansas-Monticello.

Southeastern is hitting .306 as a team, led by a group of seven hitters batting better than .300 on the year.

Peyton Streetman who is hitting .407 with 17 RBI and 20 runs scored.

Kady Fryrear is next in line with a .368 average that includes seven doubles, five home runs and a team-leading 23 RBI.

Kyia Monahwee is right behind her with a .367 average with a pair of triples, five home runs and 20 RBI.

Cheyenne Mahy leads the team in homers with eight while hitting .346 with 22 RBI.

Kamarie Wallace is next with a .319 average, followed by
Bailey Beard at .306 and
Augusta Duty at .300.

Amberlyn Walsworth leads the way in the circle with a 14-1 record and a 2.05 ERA over 16 starts and 24 total appearances. She has tossed three shutouts, recorded a save, and struck out 105 hitters across from 14 walks.

Mahy is not far behind with an 11-2 record overall on the season and a 2.23 ERA over nine starts in 20 appearances. She has been in on three total shutouts as well and recorded two saves while striking out 46.

OBU is led by Heather Brown's .357 average which paces a group of five hitters over the .300 mark. One of those is Jillian Jones who is hitting .33 and leads the team in home runs with five and BI with 21.

Nikki Schneider leads the Tiger pitching staff with a 6-3 record in nine starts over 10 appearances and carries a 2.24 ERA with 29 strikeouts.
