DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will get back on the road for the weekend as it prepares for a three-game series against Henderson State April 24-25 in Arkadelphia, Ark.

Game one of the series is slated for 4 p.m. on Saturday, with a noon doubleheader set for Sunday.

The Savage Storm head into the series coming off a sweep of Ouachita Baptist which stretched the SE lead in the GAC standings to 2.5 games with nine to play.

Southeastern is 30-5 overall on the year and 20-4 in league play, while the Reddies head into the weekend at 11-27 overall and 8-19 in conference play.

SE holds a 6-4 edge in the series over the last 10 games, but is 21-14 overall since the teams joined the GAC beginning in the 2012 season.

The Storm have been paced by two of the league's best pitchers on the season in
Amberlyn Walsworth and
Cheyenne Mahy.

Walsworth is 15-1 on the season with a 2.06 ERA and 11 strikeouts, while Mahy is 13-2 with a 1.90 ERA and 52 K's.

At the plate,
Peyton Streetman leads the way with a .400 average on the season, while six other hitters are batting better than .300.

Kady Fryrear leads that group and boasts team-bests in doubles with eight and RBI with 24.

Mahy has also been helping the cause with the bat, leading the team with eight home runs and adding 23 RBI.

Kyia Monahwee has also crossed the 20 RBI mark and is hitting .355 on the year with five homers.

HSU is led offensively by Kaitlyn Quinn's .350 average, while Czoey White has a team-best four homers and Addie Jordan has driven in 19 runs.

Mallory Brewer leads the way in the circle with a 5-11 record and a 5.20 ERA with 73 strikeouts.
