DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to welcome Arkansas Tech to the Southeastern Softball Field for the final home series of the year, with an April 30 doubleheader slated for 1 p.m. followed by a single game at noon on May 1.

That May 1 contest will be preceded by a Senior Day presentation when SE recognizes
Augusta Duty as its lone senior.

The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 32-6 record on the season and a 22-5 mark in Great American Conference play, holding onto a lead in the league standings over Southern Arkansas and ATU with six games to play in the regular season.

The Storm will be looking to shake off a 1-6 record against the Golden Suns over the last seven games, while overall the Storm is 17-17 against ATU in conference games and 10-8 at home.

Peyton Streetman continues to lead the Storm offense with a .404 average, while five others are hitting better than .300.

Cheyenne Mahy leads the Storm with nine home runs and 26 RBI, while
Kyia Monahwee has six homers and 22 RBI, and
Kady Fryrear adds five long balls and 24 RBI.

Mahy also leads the pitching staff with a 1.75 ERA and two saves, while
Amberlyn Walsworth carries a 2.14 ERA and paces the club in strikeouts with 120.

Both Mahy and Walsworth have matching 15-2 records on the season.

The Golden Suns come into the weekend with a 24-14-1 record on the year and a 20-7 mark in GAC play.

ATU features a foursome of .300 hitters, led by Caitlyn Wells with a .395 average, 12 doubles and 31 RBI. Makenzie Addis leads the team in home runs with 11 and has 28 RBI on the season.

Shannon Lasey and Maddy Prough each have eight wins on the year, with Lasey posting a 2.93 ERA and Prough at 3.19. Prough's 74 strikeouts pace the team.
