Box Score SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern rallied form a three-run deficit, scoring five runs over the final two innings on its way to a 6-3 win over Harding in the series opener on Sunday night in Searcy, Ark.
 
The win lifts the Savage Storm to 10-3 overall, on the season and 3-1 in Great American Conference play with the final two games of the series slated for Monday afternoon at noon.
 
Reid Rice collected a pair of hits, while 
Blake McQuain, 
Cameron French, 
Matt Miles, and 
Dylan Herd each added a hit.
 
 McQuain, 
Richard Ware, Rice, and French would each tally an RBI.
 
Jacob Pitter turned in his longest outing of the season on his way to the win, tossing 7.0 innings and allowing three runs on four hits with 10 stirkeouts,
 
Dylan Turner recorded two-thirds of an inning with a strikeout, followed by 
Kenneth Klier recording one-third of an inning with a strikeout.
 
Jackson Sioson would close out the game, tossing the final inning and striking out two o earn his second save of the season.
 
The Bisons jumped in front early with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first, and tacked on a run on an RBI double in the third to take a 3-0 lead.
 
SE would finally get on the board in the sixth inning as McQuain would bring home Miles on a sac fly, closing the gap to 3-1.
 
The Storm would complete its rally in the top of the eighth, with Ware getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring home Mike Bernhardt, followed by an RBI single by Rice and an RBI sac fly from French that brought home McQuain to take a 4-3 lead.
 
SE would take advantage of three walks,  single and an error in the top of the ninth, first as 
Damon Burroughs scored on a wild pitch with Ramirez coming home on an error after a McQuain single to push the lead to 6-3 which would hold up as the final score.
