Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closed out a three-day stretch of games with a pair of tough losses on the road against No. 23 Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday afternoon in Commerce, Texas.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 10-10 overall as they set their sights back on conference play with a March 4-5 three-game series versus Southern Nazarene at Southeastern Softball Field.

In the opener, Streetman collected a pair of hits, while
Alexis Lambert added one, a double.
Â
Lambert's double would drive in the lone RBI.

Amberlyn Walsworth got the start and tossed complete game, allowing five runs, three of them earned, on seven hits with two strikeouts while suffering the loss.

The Lions scored the first five runs of the contest, putting up three runs in the bottom of the second on a three-run homer and adding two more in the third to mount a 5-0 lead.

Southeastern answered in the fourth with a run as Streetman scored on a Lambert double, but the Storm were unable to get any more momentum going in a 5-1 loss.

The Storm got on the board first in game two as
Jaleigh Durst singled home
Kamarie Wallace in the top of the second to take a 1-0 lead.

TAMUC would answer with a run in the bottom of the third innings, but a Lambert RBI single would drive in Fryrear in the top of the fourth would put SE back in front, 2-1.

The Lions would answer with a run in the fourth to tie and would take the lead with two in the fifth.

Southesstern would bounce back with its answer in the sixth inning, first with Wallace driving in Beard on a sac fly.

The Storm would tack on another run a batter later as Monahwee singled home Fryrear to tie the game at 4-4.

TAMUC would respond in the bottom half of the sixth, putting up six runs on four hits, taking advantage of a walk and two hit batters to take a 10-4 lead which would hold up as the final score.

Frrear led the offense with two hits, while Beard, Wallace, Monahwee, Lambert, Durst, and Gracie ore each added a hit.

Fryrear, Monahwee, Lambert, and Durst each drove in a run.

Mahy got the start and tossed 5.2 innings, allowing four runs on six hits with three strikeouts while taking a no decision.

Walsworth would come on and record a third of an inning and allowed six runs on four hits with one strikeout, taking the loss.
