DURANT, Okla. – No. 25 Southeastern looks to build on its current momentum when it welcomes Arkansas-Monticello to Mike Metheny Field for a three-game series beginning March 18 with a 2 p.m. first pitch, followed by a March 19 doubleheader to begin at 1 p.m.

The Savage Storm cracked the top-25 this week and are riding an eight-game winning streak, most recently a sweep of Northwestern Oklahoma State that lifted SE to 19-4 overall on the season and 10-2 in Great American Conference play which is currently good for second place, a game-behind Southern Arkansas.

Reid Rice comes into the weekend as the reigning GAC Player of the Week following his five-homer weekend which lifted his season total to a national-best 13 along with a .388 average and sixth in the nation in RBI with 35.

Blake McQuain leads the offense with a .448 average, while Cameron Frnch is right at .400 for th eyar with 21 RBI.

Seth Morrow and
Angel Ochoa are each hitting better than .300, while
Richard Ware has six homers and 24 RBI, both of which rank second on the team.

The Storm pitching staff is led by
Connor Priest's 4-0 record with a 2.82 ERA, while
Dylan Turner is next in line at 3-0 with a 2.75 ERA.Â
Cole Canuteson and
Logan Teske each have three wins as well.

Canuteson leads the team in strikeouts with 31, while Priest,
Kenneth Klier, and
Jacob Potter each have 20-or-more.

Jackson Sioson paces the relievers with six saves which is tied for second nationally, while Klier has the other two of the team's eight combined.

The Boll Weevils come into the weekend with a 7-12 record overall on the year and a 4-8 mark in GAC play, but have been hard to read as they won two out of three games versus then-No. 6 Henderson State and picked up a midweek win over Southern Arkansas, but also dropped two out of three versus Arkansas tech and were swept by NWOSU.

UAM is led on offense by Cade Thompson's .429 average and 26 RBI, while Jordan Johnson has a team-best six home runs.

Charles Peacock has a team-leading two victories on the hill, while Spencer Johnston leads the starters in ERA with a 5.40 mark, with Mason Philley turning in a team-best 26 strikeouts.
