DURANT, Okla. – After picking up a midweek victory to get back in the win column, Southeastern will now set out on its first road trip in over two weeks looking to close the gap on conference leader and eighth-ranked Southern Arkansas when it travels to Magnolia, Ark., for a three-game series March 25-26. Game one of the series is slated for a 6 p.m. start on Friday, with the final two games set for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 21-6 record on the season and an 11-4 mark in Great American Conference play, currently in a three-way tie for second place looking up at SAU.

SE got back in the win column after suffering its first consecutive losses of the season, but still owns a 10-2 record in its last 12 contests.

The Storm offense got back in gear last game out with five homers, including the most recent from
Reid Rice who is tied for the lead nationally with 14 home runs along with 36 RBI and a .378 batting average.

Blake McQuain's .452 average leads the team, while Rice,
Seth Morrow,
Cameron French, and
Angel Ochoa are all hitting well over .300 for the year.

In addition to Rice's leading mark; Morrow, French, and
Richard Ware each have more than 20 RBI, while five others have at least three homers on the season.

Connor Priest and
Logan Teske have each picked up four victories on the season, while
Dylan Turner and
Cole Canuteson each have three.

Canuteson leads the team in strikeouts with 34, while five others have at least 20 K's on the season.

Jackson Sioson leads the team's bullpen with seven saves which ranks atop the GAC and among the best nationally.

The Muleriders are led offensively by Jakob Machuca who is hitting .414 while Riley Orr is right behind at .408, while Tucker Burton has a team-best nine home runs and Brandon Nicoll has driven in 33 RBI.

Jeremy Adorno leads the SAU pitching staff with a 7-0 record an 0.98 ERA with 67 strikeouts, while three different relievers have recorded a save.
