DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern heads into a key road series looking to improve its position in the Great American Conference standings when it heads to Arkadelphia, Ark., to take on Ouachita Baptist in a three-game series April 15-16, with a Friday doubleheader slated for 1 p.m. while the series finale is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Savage Storm head into the series with a 22-21 record overall and a 13-11 mark in GAC play which puts them in a tie for fifth place, two games out of fourth and three games up on sixth.

Southeastern has five players in the lineup hitting better than .300, led by leadoff hitter
Peyton Streetman who is batting .366 with a team-best 32 runs scored.

Cheyenne Mahy is next in line with a .333 average while posting team-best totals of 15 doubles and 30 RBI.

Marilyn Alvarado, and
Lauren White are all hitting over .300 on the year, while
Kamarie Wallace and
Jaleigh Durst have team-highs of four homers, with Wallace and
Kady Fryrear each posting more than 20 RBI.

Amberlyn Walsworth also has 11 wins on the season with a 4.58 ERA and a team-high 151 strikeouts.

OBU enters the weekend with a 13-24 record on the season and a 9-15 mark in GAC play which is good for eighth in the conference standings.
