SE Hosts RSU in Final Non-Conference Home Game

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern heads into its final midweek home game when it takes on non-conference foe Rogers State at 2 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field on April 19 for a single game.
 
The Savage Storm are coming off a series victory over Ouachita Baptist which lifts the teams overall record to 28-14 on the season.
 
The SE offense is hitting .307 as a team, led by Cameron French who is carrying a .404 average, while Reid Rice, Seth Morrow, Matt Miles, Blake McQuain, and Bryce McDermott are each hitting over .300.
 
Rice continues to rank among the best in the nation in the longball with 18 home runs while also leading the team in RBI with 50.
 
Morrow, McQuain, McDermott, and Richard Ware each have five or more homers, while French, and Morrow boast more than 30 RBI.
 
Logan Teske and Jordan Comptoon have started SE's most recent midweek matchups, with Teske carrying a 4-1 record on the season with 26 strikeouts, while Compton is 1-0 with 20 K's.
 
Jackson Sioson leads the team in saves with eight with a 2-1 record and 21 strikeouts in 20 relief appearances.
 
RSU comes into Tuesday with a 20-21 record on the season having dropped five of its last six.
 
Joel Escalante leads the way with a .367 average, while Jesse Holquin has a team-best 45 RBI.
 
Rece Parker has started the team's last two midweek matchups and has a pair of wins in 10 appearances and five starts while striking out 26.
 
Jordan Ewig leads the staff with five wins and 55 strikeouts and Octavio Sanchez has a team-best five saves.
