DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern heads into its final home weekend of the season with a chance to secure a berth in the Great American Conference tournament as it hosts Henderson State in a three-game series at the Southeastern Softball Field, with game one set for 3 p.m. on April 22, while the final two games are slated for a noon doubleheader on April 23.

Saturday will also mark senior day for two Savage Storm players as
Courtney Crane and
Alexis Lambert will be playing in their final home series.

The Savage Storm have won its last two conference series and swept a non-conference doubleheader this week to push its record to 26-22 on the season overall and a 15-12 mark in GAC play.

Peyton Streetman leads a group of four hitters batting over .300, hitting .350 on the season with a team-best 34 runs scored.

Cheyenne Mahy has added 15 doubles and driven in 33 runs to lead the team in RBI while
Kamarie Wallace and
Kady Fryrear have each posted more than 30 RBI.

Mahy also leads the Storm pitching staff in wins with 14 wins, while
Amberlyn Walsworth paces the club in ERA and strikeouts with 167.

HSU enters the weekend with a 9-18 record in conference play and a 12-36 mark overall on the season.

Madison Treulein leads the offense with a .343 average, while Abbie Moore has a team-best nine home runs and 24 RBI.

Erika Bettinger leads the way for the Reddies in the circle with five wins and three saves, while Savannah Carrigan has a team-high 78 strikeouts.
