Walsworth Earns GAC Weekly Honor

DURANT, Okla. – Following three-straight pitching victories last week, Southeastern's Amberlyn Walsworth has been named Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week.
 
Walsworth helped lead the Savage Storm to a 5-0 week with wins over Texas Woman's and Henderson State.
 
She posted a 3-0 record with a 1.05 ERA across three appearances with two starts.
 
She tossed a pair of complete games, finishing the week with 20 innings pitched while striking out 20 and allowing opponents to hit just .174 against her.
 
Walsworth turned in a nine-inning complete game victory versus Henderson State where she struck out seven and allowed a run on five hits across nine innings.
