DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball heads into the final weekend of the regular season looking to improve its postseason seeding when it heads to Russellville, Ark., to take on Arkansas Tech in a three-game series on April 29-30, with a doble header slated for 3 p.m. on Friday with the series finale set for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 29-22 record overall and an 18-12 mark in Great American Conference play which currently ranks fifth with the possibility of finishing as high as third or as low as sixth.

SE enters the final weekend riding a six-game winning streak and riding a series of outstanding pitching performances with only one of those six games seeing more than four runs scored by an opponent.

Amberlyn Walsworth leads the team with a 3.26 ERA and 178 strikeouts with 14 season wins, while
Cheyenne Mahy has 15 wins with a 3.36 ERA and 129 K's.

The offense is led by
Peyton Streetman and Mahy who each have a .346 average, with Streetman scoring a team-best 36 runs while Mahy has five homers and 34 RBI.

Kamarie Wallace and
Kady Fryrear each have more than 30 RBI as well.

Arkansas Tech enters the weekend with a 34-16 record overall on the year and a 24-6 mark in GAC play.

Tymber Riley leads the Golden Suns on offense with a .436 average along with 14 home runs and 50 RBI.

The ATU pitching staff is led by Shannon Lasey with a 1.50 ERA, 15 wins and 115 strikeouts.
