Coblentz Picks up GAC Weekly award

LAWTON, Okla. – Following her efforts in leading Southeastern at the Aggie Duels in Lawton, Okla., Sarah Coblentz has been named the Great American Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
 
Coblentz, a freshman from Celina, Texas, turned in her first and the team's first sub-20-minute 5K run, posting a 19:56.0 to finish 13^th in the 64-runner field.
 
Her run helped Southeastern to a third-place finish at the meet, finishing ahead of GAC rivals Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
The Savage Storm will be back on the course on Sept. 23 with a trip to Minneapolis, Minn., for the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by Minnesota.
