FORT WORTH, Texas – The Southeastern cross country program closes out the regular season with a 12
th-place finish at the Old Glory Gallop, hosted by Dallas Baptist.

The Savage Storm earned 369 points as a team to finish 12
th, just two spots off the next highest GAC finish, with Oklahoma Baptist placing 10
th. Simon Fraser won the event with a combined team score of 108, edging out Midwestern State in second with 118 points. Texas State rounded out the top three, while UT Tyler (4
th) and MSU-Denver (5
th) completed the top five.

Katlen Clem led the SE runners with a time of 18:46.04 to place just inside the top 50 individually in 49
th. Not far behind,
Ashlen Clem crossed the line at 19:07.22 in 69
th and was quickly followed by
Anahi Machuca in 71
st with a time of 19:07.43.
Devyn Doakes would round out the top 100 finishes for the blue and gold at 19:30.14 to place 95
th.

Next to cross the finish line,
Lauren Garza and
Tatum Cross finished back-to-back at 19:52.09 and 19:5415, respectively. Following the pair,
Anjelika Abraham placed 127
th with a time of 19:59.23 and was shortly followed by
Calibre Keene, who posted a time of 20:11.15.

Southeastern soon saw
Sarah Coblentz complete the race at the 20:224.5 mark, and seconds later,
Mireyda Samper crossed the line at 20:26.15.
Cassandra Vargas finished on the heels of Coblentz and Samper at 20:30.53, and she would be followed by
Genevi Martinez at 20:40.23.

Aereonna Cardenas was next to cross the finish line for the Storm, posting a time of 20:57.35, while
McKenna Wood and
Andrea Lopez would round out the meet with times of 21:47.53 and 23:29.04, respectively.

Southeastern will now turn its attention to the GAC Championship meet on Saturday, Oct. 25 in Monticello, Ark.
