DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern jumps into its second weekend road trip of the season when it travels to Bentonville, Ark., for the Alvy Early Memorial Classic Feb. 11-12.

Originally a three-day event, weather forced the cancellation and rescheduling of Friday's games, shortening the weekend to two days.

The Storm will then take on Missouri Southern State at 11 a.m. on Sunday and close the weekend versus No. 1 Rogers State at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 12.

Southeastern comes into the weekend with a 3-2 record after the first weekend, winning the first three outings of the season before suffering a pair of losses to end the weekend.

The offense is led by Gracie Ore's .333 average, while Sabetha Sands is hitting .300, with Sands and Olivares each collecting three RBI.

Cheyenne Mahy picked up a complete-game shutout with 10 strikeouts in her only start and appearance of the opening weekend, while Taylor Reese and Amberlyn Walsworth each added a win in their starts.

PSU opened its season in Texas and posted a 1-4 weekend, with its win coming against a ranked Angelo State squad.

TSU will be opening its 2023 season on Saturday after going 8-35 in 2022 and coming into the season picked 12th in the GLVC preseason poll.
