DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball will close out its early season classic slate with a five-game run at the Raising Cane's Softball Festival Feb. 17-19 in Edmond, Okla.

The Savage Storm will take on a stout schedule as it opens the weekend with a Feb. 17 matchup against No. 1 Rogers State at 3 p.m.

SE follows that with a pair of games on Feb. 18, first taking on Missouri Southern State at 10 a.m. before facing Nebraska-Kearney at 12:30 p.m.

The Storm will close out he trip with a 10:30 a.m. matchup with Northeastern State on Feb. 19 before wrapping the weekend against host and sixth-ranked Central Oklahoma at 1 p.m.

Southeastern enters the weekend with a 3-6 record overall on the year but have lost six-straight following a 3-0 start to the season.

Iliana Olivares leads the way for the Storm coming into the weekend with a .500 average that includes a double while driving in a team-best five RBI.

Gracie Ore is next in line while hitting .333, with
Alexis Massie and
Sabetha Sands each driving in three runs.

In the circle SE has three pitchers who have each picked up a victory, while
Cheyenne Mahy has a team-best ERA of 1.93 across three appearances and two starts.

Amberlyn Walsworth has a team-leading five appearances and three starts   with a pair of complete games, including a shutout, while also leading the team in strikeouts with 16.

Reese Taylor has also picked up a win and has started in three of her four appearances.

RSU comes into the weekend with a 6-0 record on the season and is led by Bridgett Morales on offense who is hitting .588 with nine RBI, while Sara Llamas-Howell paces the pitching staff with a 0.56 ERA and a 3-0 record with 13 strikeouts.

MSSU enters play with a 6-3 mark on the season and is offensively paced by Yazmin Vargas who is hitting .455, while Avery Tallman leads the way in the circle with a 5-1 record and a 1.16 ERA.

UNK comes into the weekend at 4-4 and is led by Sydney Thomason who is hitting .370 while also posting a 1-1 record and a team-best 4.20 ERA.

NSU comes into play with a 5-3 record on the year and is led by Chloe Bohuslavicky who is hitting .364 with five homers and nine RBI while Madison Heinle leads the pitching staff with a 3-1 record and a 1.40 ERA.

UCO enters play with a 4-2 record on the year and is led by Jacee Minter who is hitting .450 with seven RBI while Corrina Rivas has a team-best 2-1 record with nine stirkeouts.
