DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball will finally make its return to the fr4iendly confines of the SE Softball Field when it opens Great American Conference play versus Arkansas-Monticello, with a doubleheader slated for 10 a.m. on Feb. 24 while the series finale is set for noon on Feb. 25.
 
The Savage Storm return home after three road weekends with a 6-8 record on the year after posting a 3-2 outing last weekend, with the two losses coming to top-10 teams.
 
Southeastern's offense is led by 
Iliana Olivares who is hitting .407 on the season with a pair of doubles and a team-best nine RBI.
 
Gracie Ore is next in line with a .345 average, while 
Alexis Massie had five RBI, with 
Cheyenne Mahy, and 
Sabetha Sands driving in four apiece.
 
Mahy also leads the team with a pair of home runs.
 
Amberlyn Walsworth is off to a 3-3 start to the season in the circle and leads the squad with 35 strikeouts on the year,
 
Mahy carries a 1-0 record with a 5.40 ERA, while 
Reese Taylor is at 20-4 on the year with a 5.46 ERA.
 
UAM comes into the conference opener with a 7-4 record overall on the year.
 
The Cotton Blossoms are led on offense by Grace Neal who is hitting .400 with four home runs and 21 RBI.
 
IN the circle, UAM is led by Kyann Woods who has posted a 2-0 record and a 5.40 ERA.
