Storm Welcome OBU For Three-game Series

DURANT, Okla. – After pushing the start of its series back by a day due to weather, Southeastern softball is now set to welcome Oklahoma Baptist for a three-game series beginning March 11 with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at the Southeastern Softball Field followed by a single game on March 12 at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with an 11-11 record overall on the season but are off to a 6-1 mark to open Great American Conference play after a three-game sweep of Southwestern Oklahoma State.
 
SE is led offensively by Gracie Ore's .326 average, while Iliana Olivares is next in line with a .311 mark.
 
Olivares leads the way with 13 RBI, while Cheyenne Mahy has logged a team-best three home runs and is second in line in RBI with 11.
 
In the circle, Mahy leads the way with a 2.36 ERA with a 3-1 with a no-hitter and three total shutouts with 23 strikeouts.
 
Amberlyn Walsworth has a team-leading five victories while posting a 4.20 ERA with 56 strikeouts, while Reese Taylor carries a 3.71 ERA and a 3-4 record on the season.
 
OBU comes to town with a 19-4 record overall and a 6-2 mark in league play while riding a five-game winning streak.
 
Emily Adler leads the Bison offense with a .472 average and 20 RBI, while Samantha Campos has a team-best two home runs.
 
OBU is led in the circle by Kayleigh Jones who is 14-2 on the season with a 0.53 ERA with 154 strikeouts.
