DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will make its longest in-state road trip looking to rebound in conference play when it heads to Alva, Okla., for a three-game series against Northwestern Oklahoma State, with game one set for 6 p.m. on March 31 followed by an April 1 doubleheader at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest at 14-17 overall on the season and 6-12 in Great American Conference play, looking to snap a four-game losing streak and make a push down the home stretch of the season to make the GAC Tournament.
 
SE is led by 
Damon Burroughs who is hitting .432 on the season with a team-best 34 RBI while adding four doubles, six triples, and four home runs.
 
Five other starters are hitting better than .300, with 
Reid Rice posting team-bests in doubles with nine and homers with six, while 
Seth Morrow also has nine doubles and has chipped in 30 RBI.
 
Cole Canuteson leads the pitching staff with a 3-1 record and a 4.12 ERA while striking out 38 on the year.
 
Bristol Carson and 
Michael Barta each have three wins as well, while 
Connor Priest has struck out 31 and carries a 3.86 ERA over six starts.
 
NWOSU comes into the weekend with a 14-18 record and in a tie with the Storm at 6-12 on conference play.
 
The Rangers feature a foursome of players hitting better than .300, led by Brandon Holdren who is hitting .396 with six homers and 25 RBI, while Hagen Barcello leads the team in RBI with 31.
 
Cole Rodriguez leads the pitching staff with a 2.72 ERA and a 2-02 record while striking out 31 across nine appearances, seven of them starts.
 
Cade Phelps and Justin Dunlap each have a pair of wins, while Phelps has also recorded two saves.
