DURANT, Okla. – Following his efforts least week in helping Southeastern to a 2-2 record in team play and putting together a 4-1 in singles and doubles play,
Stipan Madzar has been named the MIAA/GAC South Division Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Madzar collected a trio of wins at the number one position, first picking up a win against Dallas Baptist by a score of 2-6, 7-6, 6-2.

He would follow that up with a Friday afternoon victory over Lubbuck Christian's number one position player by a 1-6, 7-6, 6-2 final score.

Madzar would tack on a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 win at the number one position versus Southwest Baptist.

In doubles play he was part of a win at number two doubles over DBU by a 6-3 margin.

Madzar and the Savage Storm will be back on the court March 10 when they travel to Kansas City, Mo., to take on William Jewell.
