Baseball Set for Road Series vs. ATU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball will kick off a seven-game road swing to end the regular season when it heads to Russellville, Ark., to take on Arkansas Tech in a three-game series with the opener slated for 6 p.m. on April 21, with the final two games scheduled for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on April 22.
 
The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 22-21 record overall and a 13-14 mark I Great American Conference play and still looking to secure a postseason berth in the conference tournament.
 
Damon Burroughs continues to lead SE on offense with a .393 average that features six doubles, seven triples, five home runs and 44 RBI.
 
Reid Rice, Seth Morrow, Cory Bonstrom, and Jake Miller are each hitting better than .300 as well.
 
Rice leads the team in doubles with 13 as well as home runs with eight, while Morrow has seven homers and is second in line in RBI with 39.
 
Cole Canuteson and Michael Barta lead the pitching staff with four wins each, while Canuteson has a staff-best 5.53 ERA and 56 strikeouts.
 
ATU comes into the weekend with a 26-16 record on the season and a 19-8 mark in GAC play.
 
Sam Stephenson leads the Wonder Boys with a .385 average, while Keaton Renallo paces the club with 10 home runs. Sawyer Duddleston has driven in a team-best 47 runs.
 
John Gray and Emiliano Mata pace the pitching staff with five wins each, while Gray leads the team with 61 strikeouts.
