DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's tennis is set to open play at the Great American Conference Championship as the No. 3 seeded Savage Storm take on sixth-seeded Ouachita Baptist at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 21 in Bentonville, Ark.
Â
The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 7-12 record overall on the season and a 3-2 mark in conference play.
Â
On the season, four of SE's five matches versus GAC competition have been settled by 4-3 final scores, with the Storm's 6-1 win over the Tigers on April 8 being the lone difference.
Â
In that matchup Southeastern picked up the doubles point as

Â
Nitu would continue the Storm winning at the two positions as SE would see Hosking,

Rhythm Aswal take the three-through-six positions for the 6-1 win.
Â
The Tigers come into the postseason with a 5-15 record overall on the season and an 0-5 mark in GAC play.
Â
A win for Southeastern on Friday would set up a 1 p.m. contest on April 22 second-seeded Southern Arkansas in the semifinals, and a win in that matchup would earn the Storm a berth in the conference championship final on April 23 at 1 p.m.
