DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will celebrate its Great American Conference Tournament Championship with a berth in the NCAA Central Regional Tournament where it earns the No. 8 seed and will open against top-seed and host Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla.

Southeastern makes its first appearance in the NCAA Regional Tournament since 2014. That season SE won the regional in Mankato, Minn., before beating Augustana in the Super Regional and advancing to the program's only appearance in the NCAA Division II National Finals.

The 2023 selection is the program's ninth berth in the NCAA Tournament going back to 1999.

A pair of GAC foes will join SE and UCO in Edmond with fourth-seeded Harding taking on No. 5 seed Oklahoma Baptist on the other side of the bracket.

Missouri Southern State will host the other side of the Central Region Tournament as the No. 2 seed, hosting Minnesota-Duluth in the opener. Rogers State will join them in Joplin, Mo., as the three-seed and take on sixth-seed Southern Arkansas.

SE makes its trip to the regional tournament after making a run through the conference tournament with wins over Arkansas Tech, Southern Nazarene, and a championship victory over Southern Arkansas.
